The headland and the surf
Burleigh Head rises 80 m where Tallebudgera Creek meets the Coral Sea. The Galvanizers Association's AS 4312 guide rates the first 200 m from a surf beach as C5, its harshest band for corrosion.

Heritage on Goodwin Terrace
A handful of Burleigh buildings are heritage listed, including the former De Luxe Theatre on Goodwin Terrace, now the Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade, and the West Burleigh Store. If you own or lease a listed building, check with the City of Gold Coast before an outdoor unit goes on the outside.
